DESCRIPTION:Now in its third edition\, Cluj Chamber Music Festival brings to the forefront the beauty and refinement of chamber music. Taking place between May 9–20\, across various venues in Cluj-Napoca\, the festival presents 11 recitals performed by prestigious artists from the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca\, alongside special guests from Romania and abroad. \nOn Friday\, May 16\, at 7:00 PM\, at the Pietati Evangelical Lutheran Church\, the Cluj Chamber Music Festival invites you to an exceptional chamber recital by the Romanian String Quartet. \nFormed by Alexandru Marian (violin)\, Maria Marica (violin)\, Cristian Andriș (viola)\, and Radu Sinaci (cello)\, the ensemble presents a program dedicated to Romanian music: \n\n\nSabin Drăgoi – String Quartet No. 1 \n\n\nMihail Andricu – String Quartet\, Op. 14 \n\n\nThrough these works\, the Romanian String Quartet brings valuable compositions from the Romanian chamber repertoire back into the spotlight\, blending tradition and modernity in a deeply expressive performance. \nThe event has no intermission and will conclude around 8:00 PM. \nRecommended age: 12+
