DESCRIPTION:OPERA APERTA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2026 \n“Dance for Me”\, the new production by Granada Flamenco Ballet\, invites audiences into an intense\, passionate and deeply sensory experience of dance and music. At its core lie emotion\, tension\, rhythm and the powerful expressive force of flamenco culture. \nInspired by the creative traditions of Granada\, one of the most fascinating cities in Spain\, the performance brings to the stage cultural\, historical and musical influences that define the spirit of Andalusia. The poetic universe of Federico García Lorca\, the music of Manuel de Falla\, and the authentic energy of the renowned Zambra gitana come together in a vibrant production celebrating the roots of flamenco. \nThe choreography bears the signature of several renowned choreographers. Among them is Patricia Guerrero\, one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Spanish dance and recipient of Spain’s National Dance Award\, alongside masters Javier Martos\, Mariano Bernal\, and Raimundo Benítez. The result is a performance of remarkable visual and emotional power\, in which dancers and musicians together create a sequence of moments that are at once dramatic\, intimate and electrifying. \n“Dance for Me” moves through multiple expressive registers—from the passion and dramatic intensity inspired by Lorca\, to the musical richness of Manuel de Falla’s works\, and finally to the explosive energy and communal spirit of the Zambra gitana sections. Each moment introduces a new atmosphere\, a different vibration\, another way of experiencing dance. DESCRIPTION:OPERA APERTA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2026 \nOn Monday\, 22 June\, at 6:30 PM\, the International Opera Aperta Festival 2026 presents a concert performed by the Military Band of the 4th Infantry Division “Gemina” Cluj-Napoca\, at the Casino – Urban Culture Centre. \nThe event will begin at the entrance to Central Park (Hungarian State Opera in Cluj-Napoca) from where the military band will set off in a marching formation\, performing and parading towards the Casino. Through this format\, the concert preserves the specific character of the military band\, in which music is closely connected to movement\, ceremony\, and direct presence in the public space. \nThe Military Band of the 4th Infantry Division “Gemina” was founded on 7 August 1951\, with the entry into force of the new organisational structure of the 3rd Military Region\, today the 4th Infantry Division “Gemina” in Cluj-Napoca. Over time\, the wind ensemble has taken part in military ceremonies\, national celebrations\, public events\, festivals\, concerts\, and competitions held both in Romania and abroad. \nAlongside its characteristic military repertoire\, the ensemble’s programme includes works from Romanian and international music\, folk arrangements\, symphonic music\, promenade music\, opera arias\, duets\, pop\, rock\, jazz\, and film music. The instrumentalists and conductor of the Military Band are military artists\, graduates and students of the National University of Music in Bucharest and of the “Gheorghe Dima” National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca. \nThe event has no interval and is expected to end around 7:30 PM. \nAdmission is free. \nRecommended age: 7+ \nThe International Opera Aperta Festival is organised with the support of the Ministry of Culture\, the Cluj-Napoca City Hall\, the Cluj-Napoca Local Council\, the Cluj County Council\, and the “Opera 2 You” Association.

Through its broad and homogeneous timbre\, the cello allows for a varied approach to the repertoire\, ranging from lyrical and expressive pages to works with a more rhythmic or concertante character. \nThe concert is part of the Opera Aperta series of events held in alternative spaces\, through which music is presented outside the traditional framework of the concert hall.
