Now in its third edition, Cluj Chamber Music Festival brings to the forefront the beauty and refinement of chamber music. Taking place between May 9–20, across various venues in Cluj-Napoca, the festival presents 11 recitals performed by prestigious artists from the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, alongside special guests from Romania and abroad.

On Friday, May 16, at 7:00 PM, at the Pietati Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Cluj Chamber Music Festival invites you to an exceptional chamber recital by the Romanian String Quartet.

Formed by Alexandru Marian (violin), Maria Marica (violin), Cristian Andriș (viola), and Radu Sinaci (cello), the ensemble presents a program dedicated to Romanian music:

• Sabin Drăgoi – String Quartet No. 1

• Mihail Andricu – String Quartet, Op. 14

Through these works, the Romanian String Quartet brings valuable compositions from the Romanian chamber repertoire back into the spotlight, blending tradition and modernity in a deeply expressive performance.

The event has no intermission and will conclude around 8:00 PM.
