Cluj Chamber Music Festival, now in its second edition, is a celebration of chamber music, a genre that exudes intimacy and emotion. The festival brings to the attention of the audience in Cluj a diverse repertoire, interpreted by prestigious artists from the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, as well as special guests from the field.
Taking place in the distinguished atmosphere of the Romanian National Bank’s hall in Cluj, the festival spans over six days, from April 8th to April 13th, offering a series of recitals that will captivate and move the audience. Each recital is a journey into the world of chamber music, where scores written for small groups of instruments and voices transform into powerful expressions of human emotions.
The festival opens with an exceptional evening of music, Les Couleurs de la Musique, a special event that will take place as part of the Cluj Chamber Musical Festival on April 8, 2024, starting at 7:00 PM. In this unique recital, you will have the opportunity to enjoy masterful performances by the Couleurs Quintet, a brass quintet made up of talented members of the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, and a trio presenting a contemporary composition by Eugenia Cibișescu Duran.
The Couleurs Quintet will captivate the audience with a diverse program exploring musical nuances and colors, featuring emotionally charged and virtuosic pieces. The Brass Quintet, composed of remarkable instrumentalists with vast experience in chamber music, will perform classical works, emphasizing the beauty and expressiveness of this musical genre.
