Cluj Chamber Music Festival, now in its second edition, invites its audience in Cluj to indulge in an evening of chamber music that captures the charm of Romanticism. In an intimate and refined setting, mezzo-soprano Iulia Merca and bass-baritone Cristian Hodrea will perform a selection of works from the repertoire of Johannes Brahms.

Under the title Romantic Echoes, this musical evening will take listeners through the melodic universe of the German composer, offering them a unique sonic experience. The program includes numerous enchanting works, among which we mention the cycle of songs Zigeunerlieder (Gypsy Songs), with eight vibrant pieces exploring various and emotive themes, as well as four duets from op. 28, a collection of intricate musical stories evoking love, nature, and adventure.
