Now in its third edition, Cluj Chamber Music Festival brings to the forefront the beauty and refinement of chamber music. Taking place between May 9–20, across various venues in Cluj-Napoca, the festival presents 11 recitals performed by prestigious artists from the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, alongside special guests from Romania and abroad.

On Sunday, May 18, at 7:00 PM, at Cinema Victoria, the Cluj Chamber Music Festival invites you on a musical journey that blends styles, eras, and distinct soundscapes, alongside MoldoDuo.

Flutist Ștefan Diaconu and accordionist Radu Rățoi will present a repertoire that fuses Baroque elegance and Classical lyricism with Romantic expressiveness and the refined textures of Impressionism. The program will also explore the folkloric essence in the works of Béla Bartók, culminating in the passionate rhythms of Astor Piazzolla’s History of the Tango.

Through this dialogue between flute and accordion, MoldoDuo offers a captivating sound experience, where tradition and innovation intertwine in perfect harmony.

We invite you to discover the magic of these masterpieces, reimagined with sensitivity and virtuosity!

The event has no intermission and will conclude around 8:30 PM.
