INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OPERA APERTA 2025

A truly special evening at the Opera Aperta 2025 Festival: Cell’Opera, an extraordinary ensemble of 34 cellists, delivers an unforgettable musical experience – a refined blend of operatic expression and the rich, resonant sonorities of low-string instruments.

Conducted by Tiberiu Soare, the concert highlights emblematic works from the international lyrical repertoire, reimagined in arrangements by Emeric Kostyák – from Wagner’s Tannhäuser and Bizet’s Carmen, to fantasy themes from Don Giovanni, The Barber of Seville, Tosca, and modern pieces such as Piazzolla’s Oblivion or Cosentino’s Tangomania.

A unique musical moment where lyrical emotion meets orchestral creativity, and the cello becomes the protagonist of a deep, elegant, and surprising sound narrative.
