INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OPERA APERTA 2025

OPERA FAIR is the thematic fair of the Romanian National Opera House Cluj-Napoca, organized as part of the Opera Aperta International Festival. Set in Ștefan cel Mare Park, right behind the Opera House building, OPERA FAIR offers visitors a vibrant, interactive, and creative space, adding a community-driven and lifestyle dimension to the festival’s artistic experience.

Over the course of two weekends, numerous wooden booths will showcase local and national brands: handcrafted creations, design objects, literature, visual arts, jewelry, cosmetics, delicacies, children’s products, and sustainable concepts.

OPERA FAIR is not just a fair — it is a meeting point between culture, creativity, and community. The program includes:

➡️ CineOpera – film screenings, animations, and video productions from the international operatic heritage, projected on a large outdoor LED screen;
➡️ Recitals, concerts, and surprise lyrical moments on the stage set behind the Opera House, throughout the fair;
➡️ Interactive workshops for children – music, painting, instrument-making, and creative games;
➡️ Brand activations and public experiences – tastings, contests, and themed product showcases;
➡️ Relaxation and social areas, themed decorations, and ambient musical atmosphere.

Through this concept, OPERA FAIR becomes a true cultural and community hub, where the public can explore, each day of the festival, the art, creativity, and elegance of Cluj, in a friendly and accessible setting.

Activities will take place from June 19–22 and June 26–29 in Ștefan cel Mare Park.
