OPERA APERTA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2026

On Saturday, 27 June, the Romanian National Opera of Cluj-Napoca becomes the stage for an extraordinary live experience: Peter Bence with his spectacular show Pianosphere.

Internationally acclaimed for his explosive virtuosity and unmistakable performance style, Peter Bence transforms the piano into a true spectacle of sound, rhythm and emotion. The artist delivers a refined yet electrifying show that blends the mastery of classical music with the energy of pop and rock, captivating audiences from the very first notes.

The program includes some of his most celebrated reinterpretations of iconic songs such as “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen, “Bad” by Michael Jackson and “Africa” by Toto, alongside original compositions that highlight his remarkable creativity and technique. By using the entire body of the piano to create rich, almost orchestral sonic textures, Peter Bence pushes the boundaries of a single instrument and turns every stage appearance into a truly memorable moment.

After sold-out concerts in more than 50 countries and performances on legendary stages such as the Sydney Opera House, London Palladium, Wiener Konzerthaus and Dubai Opera, Peter Bence arrives at the 10th edition of the Opera Aperta Festival for a special evening promising virtuosity, emotion and an exceptional stage energy.
