OPERA APERTA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2026

On Saturday, 27 June, at 8:30 PM, the International Opera Aperta Festival 2026 presents The Sound of Star Wars, an event performed by DJ Phantom and the Brass Quintet of the “Transylvania” State Philharmonic, at Iulius Mall – Food Court Terrace.

The concert proposes a reinterpretation of musical themes associated with the cinematic universe of Star Wars, in a format that combines the sonority of brass instruments with the electronic interventions of DJ Phantom. The musical arrangements are created by Flaviu Mogoșan, conductor and composer, who adapts the musical material of the series for this live formula, situated at the intersection of brass performance, film music, and contemporary urban culture.

The setlist includes themes such as Main Theme / Main Title, Across the Stars, Duel of the Fates, Darth Revan’s Sith Empire, Imperial March, March of the Resistance, and Star Wars: Episode I – End Credits. The programme thus follows some of the most recognisable musical moments from the Star Wars universe, ranging from heroic and ceremonial themes to pages of pronounced dramatic intensity.

The event is presented by Iulius Mall.

The concert has no interval and is expected to end around 9:30 PM.

Admission is free.

Recommended age: 7+

The International Opera Aperta Festival is organised with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, the Cluj-Napoca Local Council, the Cluj County Council, and the “Opera 2 You” Association.
